Luke "Timely Rescue"/Rewards

Story Summary

Luke and the Main Character visit a newly opened Airsoft Arena. The MC chooses a game mode that requires them to hunt down "treasure map" pieces from nine other teams, and Luke helps her prepare her armor.

The game begins, and the two hide their treasure map piece and strategize over the tracker, theorizing probable targets for each team. Realizing that all nine over teams are four members against their two, they conclude they will likely be attacked first as the perceived easiest target. Luke dismisses the threat, stating he doesn't even need a plan for such novices.

Team 1 and Team 2 close in on Luke and the MC as they prepare to defend themselves; Luke defeats both teams easily in under ten minutes. Fascinated with how Luke could be so good at the game, the MC asks questions about Luke's secret project that he evades. Luke continues to dominate the game, and soon they hold six pieces, but the MC is upset she hasn't had the chance to contribute to the effort. As she tries to demand a place in the game, the two are attacked again.

Several teams gang up on Luke, having identified him as the main threat. The MC checks the tracker and takes a risk by throwing her helmet to reveal the location of the approaching Team 7. The risk succeeds, but it exposes her position, and she takes a hit.

Team 7 withdraws when Luke rushes to the MC, who has been hit in the leg; the game's rules dictate she is now injured and can no longer move without a teammate's help. Team 7, now the last other team remaining, digs in to a fortified position as Luke carries the MC to a tree from which they can attack.

The MC succeeds in taking out the other team, but the treasure is revealed to be 5km away, which they'll have to cover within the game's remaining 20 minutes. The MC tries to convince Luke to go on without her due to the unreasonable pace required, but he refuses, putting her on his back and running them both there in time.

Luke: Yea, that's the one!

Luke: The tropical garden there is hosting a rare plant exhibition.

What kind of plant exhibition?

You: What kind of plant exhibition is it?

Luke: A tropical rare plant exhibition!

Luke: You should know the location. It's the botanical garden we used to go when we were little.

Luke: They say that there are lots of rare plants never seen in Stellis being showcased.

Luke: A lot of people have given the exhibition a 5-star rating online!

You: Alright, let's go!

You: I'm gonna bring my camera and take a ton of photos!

Luke: Haha, I knew you'd be interested.

I'm busy this week...

You: Uh oh. I have to work this weekend... Can we go next week?

You: I really want to go see the cute little plants, but I have so much work!! UGH...

Luke: No problem. The exhibition runs until next month. We have time.

You: That really famous one we had to line up for the last time?

You: Nope, I'm scarred from going there...

Luke: It won't happen again this time.

Which one are you talking about?

You: Uhh... which one are you talking about?

Luke: The one you sent me a few days ago and said that you wanted to go together.

Luke: Didn't you give up last time because of the lines?

Luke: I took care of some trouble that the shopkeeper was having. He invited me to go for free!

Luke: No waiting in line this time. You interested?
