Summary

Vyn and the main character encounter Zachary Clarke at a forest campsite, inquiring about the reason he has split from his "assistant." Vyn's questions quickly get pointed and embarrassing for Zachary, putting him on the defensive and causing him to claim that he was blackmailed by Joshua. He also admits to having sabotaged the Pax terminals, but he insists that an unknown party tampered with the surveillance footage before he could do so. Vyn agrees to let Zachary go on the condition that Zachary gives up the clues to the location of the lost gold.
