This leads him to ask his mother, Kimberly Garner, about a memory he already forgot. Kimberly Garner shows Artem a photo of himself when he planted a red bean tree sapling as a kid. She tells him that Artem was quite into poems about red beans because he was curious of its symbolic meaning when he was a kid. After Artem won a poetry competition, she took him in the woodlands to plant a red bean tree. He tells her that he chose the amusement park because he sensed that she was down after how her latest case concluded. He proceeds to confess his feelings for her. They kiss. Afterwards, the MC responds to his confession and promises that she will cherish him. Artem then gives his gift to her - a necklace with a red bean dice that he carved himself. It reminds the MC of Cloudbreak Temple - ''"Like the red bean set into a dice, my yearning is etched into my very bones."''
