Summary
After some time, the
main character and
Sharon meet up and discuss her next steps, which include a job interview. MC brings Sharon to a cosmetics shop where the receptionist recommends some make-up, saying it will give her the confidence she needs. Sharon hesitates when she sees the price of the make-up, but MC encourages Sharon, telling her that she deserves it. Sharon smiles widely, and MC discovers that she is missing 2 teeth, another product of the abuse she endured. Sharon reveals that she has a video recording of the incident on a phone at her home. MC offers to retrieve the phone for her.
At the office,
Artem is concerned about MC and calls her. The call is cut short before she can update him on the new evidence when her phone dies. Sharon is concerned for MC and says he should accompany her, which MC feels is unnecessary.
