| |story1Summary=The MC has recently finished a case in Fickermein, a commercialized country neighboring Svart, two days earlier than planned. In her hotel room with Kiki, she discusses her plans to head to Svart that day, where she plans to meet Vyn. She recalls the conversation with Vyn where she made plans for the trip, preparing to apologize to him for her extended absence, only to find out about his plans to visit Svart on business around the same time. At the time Vyn suggested they meet up after both their work finished, and although the MC hesitated since Vyn's memories of Svart don't seem happy, he encouraged her and she agreed.

| |story2Summary=Two hours later, Ogier meets the MC at the station in Svart, where many travelers are dressed in hunting attire. Ogier explains that the country is having their Umir Festival at this time -- a hunting competition which Vyn happens to be participating in for the first time. Ogier suggests she surprise him during his training session, and she accepts; when she arrives, she finds Vyn drawing an arrow toward a flock of birds. He shoots three birds with one arrow, then notices her presence with surprise and immediately suggests they go elsewhere to talk.

| |story3Summary=Vyn and the MC tell each other how much they missed each other in their two weeks apart, then he invites her to participate in the Umir festival with him. Sensing her concern, he shows her that all the animals in the competition, including the birds he shot earlier, are elaborate holograms that disappear when they hit the ground. Although she isn't sure of the best way she can help, Vyn simply asks her to keep watching him, which will help him perform better. Vyn signs her up as part of his entourage, and she notices that he's used the pseudonym "Vilhelm M." to hide his family name, which everyone in the country would recognize and be influenced by.

| |story4Summary=The day's competition begins, with Vyn leading the MC in a different direction from the rest of the hunters since he's been hunting in this forest since he was young. Vyn explains that the simulated animals behave just like real ones and details the strengths and weaknesses of Svart deer. After a long time passes with no prey in sight, Vyn suggests they rest at a lake, but the MC spots a king stag with golden antlers across the water. He tells the MC that they'll hunt it together; she tries to decline since it would be an instant win for Vyn if he succeeds, but he insists since she found it. He guides her into the correct stance for a bow and arrow and provides support until the stag comes in range and he directs her to fire. As the stag falls, the whistle immediately sounds, ending the competition.

| |story5Summary=With their return to the main festival grounds, the crowd cheers. Vyn explains that the festival winner holds a special place in the people's hearts, dating back to times when food was scarce and the winner of the hunt was a hero to the people. As Vyn is awarded the prize, an emerald bracelet, he's encouraged by the cheering crowd to give it to the MC. He does so but becomes a little embarrassed. She resolves to ask him about it later, and the two head to a holiday estate left to Vyn by his grandmother.

| |story6Summary=At the estate, Ogier has already prepared dinner. Vyn asks him to prevent the festival footage from spreading too far. They begin to eat dinner as Vyn explains the meaning behind the bracelet. The prize is custom-made by the royal family, and it carries a special meaning when given by the winner to the winner's lover: "all that is mine is yours." Vyn confesses that he didn't want to tell her this meaning right away, since their relationship is new enough that he recognizes how heavy a sentiment it is and how it might pressure her to commit more to him than she's ready for. He teases her by making her think he's going to kiss her while he wipes away some jam, and she returns the tease by saying she doesn't know whether she'll let him kiss her later.
