Stellis City, often shortened to simply "Stellis," is the game's main setting. It is considered one of the safest cities in its country; murders and security incidents are far less common than in other cities.<ref>[[Main Story 04-03]]</ref> However, Stellis City is also remarked to be an expensive area with a high cost of living,<ref>[[Main Story 01-13]]</ref><ref>[[Main Story 04-08]]</ref> with real estate prices having gone up markedly in recent years.<ref>[[Main Story 06-13]]</ref>

Stellis' immediate surroundings include many small farming towns and communities, such as [[Opaline Village]], from which people often migrate for work; [[Cloudbreak Mountain]] is also nearby. Little is known about the larger nation in which Stellis is located, aside from the fact that it is divided into provinces and that Stellis City is not its capital.

The weather in Stellis is mild to warm; while snow is not unknown in the area, it is rare and short-lived.<ref>[[Vyn "Snowy Fairy Tale"]]</ref>

Stellis' official flower is the Gladiolus,<ref> [[Big Data Lab#Gladiolus]]</ref> and its official bird is the Paradise Flycatcher. Homes with courtyards are popular in the city.<ref>[[Summer Breeze Event]]</ref>

==Culture and Festivals==
Stellis has a fishing competition called "Stellis Angling Competition". In 2029, [[Vernon Green]], owner of [[Penny's Comfort Foods]], won the competition. <ref>[[Main Story 01-10]]</ref>

Every summer, Stellis City holds the [[Big Data Lab#Starry_Light_Show|Starry Light Show]], a festival dedicated to the "Land God" who wears a mask and hides among the festival looking for his lover from his mortal life, at the Stellis River.<ref>[[Luke "Shape of You"</ref>
