Players must conduct field investigations in the form of debates or inquiries in order to find students to evaluate. Investigations may be conducted up to 11 times per day, after which the player will grow [[File:Birthday fatigue.png|30px]] fatigued. Only Vyn cards are able to be used in these debates. Each debate costs [[File:AP icon.png|28px|link=]] AP x10. Debates spawn in sets of 3-4, one of which is a student who may be evaluated; after these are cleared, a one-hour timer begins before another set will spawn. This timer may be bypassed using {{Item icon|Student Directory}}.
