Summary
At a dessert shop after the culture lounge,
Marius and the
main character discuss their future plans: Marius will hire a detective to track
Cher Young, then the two will investigate the painter who works with her directly. They're approached during their conversation by
Alex Schneider, a member of Pax's Rising Talent Initiative. After a friendly, modest chat, the two leave.
A few days later, the MC receives a call from Marius identifying the forger as
Jason Sanders, a middle-aged divorced painter whose work has struggled to gain the notice of the art world.
