|summary=<nowiki />At [[Stellis Public Hospital]], [[Aaron Yishmir]] is complimented for saving a patient who's now out of ICU, but he brushes off the compliment, instead crediting the patient's strong will to live. As he heads home from the night shift, he's ambushed by [[Luke Pearce|Luke]], who confronts him for stealing his box, calling him "Sphynx." Aaron cheerfully does not deny the identity and asks how Luke figured it out so quickly.

The two discuss Aaron's methods and motivations for being Sphynx, as well as Luke's current situation, with Aaron revealing he's been assigned as Luke's new primary physician. When Luke derides a gain in lifespan as being too small, Aaron becomes angry and insists Luke must treasure every day he can win and not try to flee from the [[Main Character|main character]], who he's determined gives Luke the will to live.

Aaron returns a ring Luke had lost in the capital, which is implied to have been intended for the MC. He then texts the MC another riddle, beginning another round of Sphynx's game and challenging Luke to go help her.
