Cards are the main "units" and collectibles in the game. Each card features art of a respective love interest. They are the core part of deck building and have various mechanics.

==Stats==
A card has three stats:

==Attributes==

A card can be one of three types: {{Attribute icon|Logic|size=24px}} Logic, {{Attribute icon|Empathy|size=24px}} Empathy, or {{Attribute icon|Intuition|size=24px}} Intuition. Logic beats Empathy, Empathy beats Intuition, and Intuition beats Logic.

These attribute types are important as choosing a strong attribute against an enemy will do 1.5x damage. Choosing a weak attribute against an enemy will hamper your damage and only output 0.5x damage. Even an attribute-strong lower rarity R card at Level 20 can deal more damage than an attribute-weak Level 40 SR/SSR card.

==Enhancing==

Enhancing a card will increase the card's level and boost its stats. The maximum level of an R card is Level 70. The maximum level of an SSR, SR, and MR card is Level 100.

[[Oracle of Justice]] and [[Stellin]] are used to enhance cards. The amount required increases based on rarity and level.

==Evolving==
Evolving a card will increase its current level cap and will also unlock more [[Skills|Card Skills]]. R cards can be evolved at Level 40/40. MR cards can be evolved at Level 70/70. SR and SSR cards can be evolved at Level 40/40 and Level 70/70.

In addition, evolving a card will also unlock new Card Faces and Card Stories or Private Messages.

[[Items#Attribute Chips|Attribute Chips]], [[Items#Character Chips|Character Chips]], and [[Stellin]] are used to evolve cards. The amount required increases based on rarity and level.

==Card Fragment/Star Upgrading==
Upgrading a card will increase the card's stats. A card can be upgraded up to 4 times.

There are 2 ways to upgrade a card: using [[Items#Star Items|Stars]] or using Card Fragments.

[[Items#Star Items|Stars]] are obtained from exchanging {{Currency|Gift I|notext=true}}[[Gift I]] or {{Currency|Gift II|notext=true}}[[Gift II]] in the [[Mall#Exchange Shop|Exchange Shop]]. A single upgrade costs 4 Stars.

Card Fragments are obtained from pulling a duplicate card. A duplicate card converts to 100 Card Fragments, which is the amount required for a single upgrade.

If a card is already at max upgrade, any additional duplicate cards pulled will be converted into [[Gift I]] or [[Gift II]] instead. R cards will convert into {{Currency|Gift I}} x100, SR cards into {{Currency|Gift I}} x1000, and SSR cards into {{Currency|Gift II}} x100.

Card Fragments for certain cards can also be obtained from [[Anomaly Levels]]. If the player does not own the card yet, they can collect 100 card fragments to craft them into their first copy of the SR card. The list of cards available and the stages they drop from are as follows:

Card skills can be passive skills that automatically activate at battle start, or active skills which activate when a card is used. The majority of cards affect Influence (Attack) or Defense, such as increasing a player's own Influence/Defense, dealing more damage to an argument (enemy), or lowering an enemy's Influence/Defense.

There are also some R cards which have skills that activate when placed in the Support Deck such as cards with the skill [[Formidable]].

These skills can be upgraded using various [[Items#Skill Up Items|skill up items]] that can be obtained from [[Anomaly Levels]] and [[NXX Headquarters|NXX Headquarters - File Room]].

It is recommended to first focus on SSR/SR offensive skills that boost Influence % such as:

*[[Preemptive Strike]] - Deals X% Influence damage to a single argument
**This is a more selfish skill but can still be a good skill to raise, especially in conjunction with buffs.
* [[Layer by Layer]] - Boosts your Influence for X turns
** General Attack Buff for all cards
* [[Attention to Detail]], [[Logical Conclusion]], [[Bait & Lure]] - Boosts the Influence of your <Attribute> cards for X turns
** Similar to Layer by Layer, but limited to a specific subset of attribute cards

==Card Stories, Text Messages and Calls==
Card stories are unlocked when a player reaches certain level thresholds for the card. These card stories consist of dates and situations with the [[MC]] and the featured male lead in the card.

Completing these card stories will also reward S-Chips and increase the Affection level with the character, which can be claimed when selecting the gift icon on the card from the Card Details screen.

===Private Messages===
Main Story SR cards and MR cards have Private Messages. These feature short ASMR-like audio that the player can listen to. In the beginner [[Shadows of Themis|Shadow of Themis]] tutorial with Davis, one SR containing private messages will be randomly drawn. Main Story SR cards with Private Messages include:

It is recommended to evolve and level at least one of these cards to 70 due to the [[Rookie Tasks]] requiring a player to listen to both Private Messages on one card.
