| |story1Summary=At the end of the treasure hunt event on Nosta, search and rescue teams are dispatched for treasure hunters who are missing. Vyn and the main character join these efforts. They happen upon an injured treasure hunter named Mary who had fallen down a slope and hurt her leg. Mary focuses entirely on Vyn as she tries to get him to help her walk or have him examine her, ignoring the MC's efforts entirely. Vyn responds coldly.

| |story2Summary=Without a signal to call for assistance, Vyn discusses leaving the area to find a signal. Mary panics, then asks Vyn to leave the MC behind with her. After he leaves, Mary begins to ask the MC pointed questions about his romantic status and how to contact him, then remarks that the MC does not seem like the type Vyn would be interested in. The MC remembers discussing the "suspension bridge effect" with Vyn in the past, which creates false feelings of love in high adrenaline situations. Elsewhere, Vyn frets over the MC, chastising himself for not being able to let go.

| |story3Summary=An hour after Vyn left, Mary grows impatient and berates the MC and Vyn for not helping her walk, accusing them of thinking of her as a burden or of seeking to extort her. Mary tries to leave on her own, but she falls and opens her wound again. The MC, frustrated, leaves Mary alone to go look for a supply cache with medical supplies. She finds a supply chest in the center of a suspension bridge. Vyn returns, notices the MC is not with Mary, and immediately pursues on the route she marked.

| |story4Summary=As the wind picks up and blows the bridge wildly, the MC begins to feel intense fear and is left unable to move. Vyn catches up and offers her support, but a plank snaps and cuts the MC's calf badly. He helps her back to solid ground, then retrieves the supply chest.

| |story5Summary=Vyn uses the medical supplies from the chest to examine and tend the MC's wound. The two return to Mary, who again pays all her attention to Vyn, not noticing the MC's injuries while accusing them of not intending to return. This angers both of them; Vyn berates Mary's lack of care for the MC and obvious attempts to throw herself at him, and they leave her alone with reassurance that the rescuers will be with her soon.

Back in Stellis, the MC encounters Vyn while returning some library books about the psychology of love. Explaining the books, the MC recounts that Mary quickly fell in love with a different rescue team worker, and the MC was trying to determine the reason for Mary's behavior. Vyn asks whether the MC thinks her own reliance on him is due to the suspension bridge effect, which the MC denies, saying their trust is reliable and built over time instead.
