Editing Shadows of Themis

Tears of Themis features multiple types of Shadows of Themis ("banners") where each has its own pool of Visions (manifesting as [[Cards]]) with separate pity counts. The type of Shadows of Themis is noted at the top left of the UI, under the back button. 'Probability' contains Shadow of Themis details including Vision availability and probability rates.  

Each Shadow of Themis has the option of drawing 1 or 10 Visions at once. A single Vision draw costs 1{{Currency|Tears of Themis}}, while 10 Vision draws will cost 10{{Currency|Tears of Themis}}.  

If the player has insufficient Tears, a request will prompt with an exchange rate to convert 180 {{Currency|S-Chip}}s to 1 Tear. If player is also deficient in {{Currency|S-Chip}}s, 10{{Currency|S-Chip}}s may be obtained from converting 1{{Currency|Gem}}. It is not recommended to pre-exchange {{Currency|S-Chip}}s into Tears prior to pulling on Shadow of Themis.

Large events, such as [[Events/Archive/2021|Mysteries of the Lost Gold]], have '''Event Limited''' Shadow of Themis that requires Special Tears. These Special Tears have a (limited) discount for converting {{Currency|S-Chip}} into Special Tears, before reverting back to the 180:1 {{Currency|S-Chip}}:Tear exchange rate.

The maximum amount of draws to guarantee a SSR or SR Vision is called "pity". In all Shadow of Themis draws, a SR Vision or higher will appear within 10 draws while a SSR Vision will appear within 100. One exception is the Permanent Shadow of Themis where new players will begin with a 30 pity to guarantee their first SSR. Thereafter, the Permanent Shadow of Themis will return to 100 pity for SSR. A display counter for SSR and SR pity is on each Shadow of Themis, above the Vision draw buttons.  

Vision tutorial with DAVIS will not draw a SSR or count towards pity. One out of the main story SR Visions with private messages will be drawn ([[Luke "Once Upon a Time"|Luke SR "Once Upon a Time,"]] [[Luke "Together with You"|Luke SR "Together with You,"]] [[Artem "Staying Humble"|Artem SR "Staying Humble,"]] [[Artem "Darkest before Dawn"|Artem SR "Darkest Before Dawn,"]] [[Marius "Butterflies"|Marius SR "Butterflies,"]] [[Marius "Falling into You"|Marius SR 'Falling into You,"]] or [[Vyn "Spilling Light"|Vyn SR "Spilling Light"]]), along with a combination of R Visions.

Beginning with 65 Visions, the Permanent Shadow of Themis is the largest pool of Visions available. SSR is guaranteed within 100 draws while SR or above is guaranteed within 10 draws.

Though there are no featured rate-ups, the Permanent Shadow of Themis contains the exclusive sports Visions ([[Luke "Moment of Danger"|Luke SR "Moment of Danger,"]] [[Artem "Focus Fire"|Artem SR "Focus Fire,"]] [[Vyn "Gentleman's Game"|Vyn SR "Gentleman's Game,"]] and [[Marius "A Dance on the Clouds"|Marius SR "A Dance on the Clouds."]]).

Pity count in Permanent Shadow of Themis is not shared with another Shadow of Themis.

SSR pity is favoured towards obtaining a new rate-up SSR. If all or no rate-up SSR are owned, one random SSR is guaranteed within 100 Visions and pity will reset. If you only own one rate-up SSR, you are guaranteed to draw the other SSR within 100 Visions (It possible to draw the owned SSR multiple times - this will not reset pity until the new SSR is obtained).

Pity count in Rotation Shadow of Themis will carry over to subsequent Rotation Shadow of Themis.

===Event Limited===

Draw rates are increased for new SSR in a round-robin style, in pairs. '''A different pair combination of male lead rate-up will be featured on certain days.''' These SSR will be unobtainable after the event ends.  

SSR pity is favoured towards obtaining a new rate-up SSR. If all or no rate-up SSR are owned, one random SSR is guaranteed within 100 Visions and pity will reset. (It possible to draw the owned SSRs multiple times - this will not reset pity until the new SSR is obtained).

The guarantee pity count will carry over between the different rate up rotations. But will not carry to the next event due to use of Special Tears.

The main difference of this Shadow of Themis is the appearance of two Special Tears: <''named''> and <Limit>. The difference between them are how they are obtained: <''named''> Tears are obtained through {{Currency|S-Chip}} conversion, while <Limit> Tears are gifted Tears during the event campaign. There is a limited discount on Special Tears through event exchange (144:1 rate for {{Currency|S-Chip}}:Special Tear) that should be considered before any currency conversion. Then to prevent accidental conversion to the wrong Tear type, it is recommended to convert through Shadow of Themis draw prompt!
