Summary

Artem and the main character decide to question Joanne and Fannie, who were both in contact with Gordon's medication before the lethal does was administered. Fannie is questioned first and tells the two attorneys that Joanne does not like Joey because of her extensive health problems and the fact that Gordon did not like Joey. Though the questioning reveals much about the family's complicated interpersonal relationships and confirms the timeline Harry gave, Artem and the MC repeatedly sense that Fannie is nervous, especially whenever Joanne is mentioned, and is likely hiding something important. The pair concludes that it's plausible Fannie and Joanne are collaborating to frame Harry so that Joey receives Gordon's inheritance.

Fannie's testimony about how she witnessed and stopped Harry from tampering with the medicine, as well as the dynamics between the family members.

1. Possibly due to Joey being mentally challenged, Gordon did not remarry Joanne and their relationship also took a hit. Joanne's current position in the family is mostly founded upon her capabilities in work, not her relationship with Gordon.

2. Fannie started preparing Gordon's medicine at 10:00 AM. She witnessed Harry attempting to tamper with the medicine at 10:40, and she stopped Harry from doing it; however, a tablet may have dropped into the medicine by accident.

3. Fannie blames herself for not preparing a new batch of medicine for Gordon.

4. Gordon had the intention of firing Fannie.

5. Joanne went into the kitchen at 11:40 AM to fetch the medicine for Gordon and got burned.

6. In the morning, Harry entered the kitchen twice while Joanne entered it once.
