Winnie is an undergraduate at Stellis University, attending on a full scholarship. She is from an underprivileged family and was only able to attend and become financially independent due to the initial sponsorship of Vernon Green, whom she cares for in her free time.
After the legal case involving Penny's Comfort Foods, Winnie has refused further monetary aid from Vernon; instead, she has a part-time job at an import gifts shop that pays well. She also volunteers for various activities through her school's Volunteer Association. When she graduates, she wants to return to her hometown and become a teacher there.[3][4]
