Summary

Joanne takes her turn at being re-questioned by Artem and the main character. Artem confirms that Joanne is connected to Heirson Health Products through the fact that she arranged their deal with Moonriver Pharmaceutical Laboratories for Gordon. She clarifies that in addition to Joey's experimental medication, she herself was unknowingly receiving experimental medication while she was pregnant. She then admits to planning the murder, but she refuses to accept the blame for the actual deed, keeping the truth of who poisoned the medicine obscure.

As Artem and the MC prepare to leave, Joey bursts in and is tenderly consoled by Joanne, then blurts out that she's seen Joanne giving Gordon Joey's medication, leaving the lawyers near-certain of the true culprit even as they understand the court likely won't accept the child's testimony.

Darius Morgan, having interviewed Gordon's family doctor, calls to inform Artem of his determination that there was no foul play involved in the leak of Gordon's will, and the MC asks to defend Harry in court.
