After Story

After Story script

Vyn: You are here. Perfect timing. Come sit and chat with me.

Intimate Interaction

Point 1 (Background)

You: (After nearly a year, Vyn, who had been in a coma at a hospital, finally woke up.)

You: (The day he woke up, the Flower of Hope seeds at the Dawn Headquarters magically sprouted.)

You: (When the Blackshark Syndicate's scheme was exposed, the Sunrise Association and Nightdock Association joined forces to eliminate it, which eased tensions between the two associations. I was also reinstated as vice president.)

(if repeated)

You: (Not long after Vyn woke up, he returned to Wenshu Clinic to recuperate, and now I'll come to see him whenever I have the time.)

Point 2 (Chest)

You: By the way, Vyn, I still have your folding scalpel. I'll return it to you next time.

Vyn: No, you hold onto that.

You: Eh? You don't need it? I remember you saying that scalpel was special, something an old man gave you before he died.

Vyn: Precisely. I want to give it to you because it is very important.

Vyn: It has accompanied me for many years. In a way, it helped me prevent the conspiracy from happening, and I hope that it will do the same for you from now on.

(if repeated)

You: (I see... Then I should find a good place to store it.)

Point 3 (Table)

You: Vyn, I noticed you always wear gloves. Is there a particular reason for that?

Vyn: Yes, I do so to maintain the sensitivity of my hands, making my treatments for my patients more precise.

Vyn: Since I officially began practicing medicine, I typically wear gloves—except when performing diagnosis, treatment, or in special circumstances.

(if repeated)

You: (Special circumstances... I remember many times when Vyn took his gloves off in front of me...)

Strange book...

You: Vyn, were you... reading a book just now? Weird, why is one of the edges charred?

Vyn: Not a book, no... It contains notes that I wrote in the past. It is... a diary.

You: A diary? Did you accidentally burn it?

Vyn: No, I purposefully tried to burn it.

You: Eh...? Why?

Vyn: I wrote this diary as a sort of "last testament"... and it feels like bad luck to keep it.

Vyn: Ever since that tragedy when I was nine years old, I thought it might be good to leave something behind, just in case.

Vyn: So after every episode, I would write down my thoughts about my illness, life, faith, and so on. But when I tried to burn it, I suddenly hesitated.

You: What made you hesitate?

Vyn: You may find it strange, but for some reason, I suddenly thought of you at that time. I quickly put out the fire burning the diary.

You: Oh, you thought of me... But I'm glad you did. It would've been a shame if you did burn it.

You: And I think that this authentic record is a proven memory that transcends tragedy, isn't it?

Vyn: A proven memory that transcends tragedy... Yes, you are right. I was right not to burn it.

You: I'm even curious what you wrote in it... But since it's your diary, I think...

Vyn: As my only ally in the world, I do not mind if you want to read it. However...

Vyn: Before that, could you find the time to honor our agreement and show me around Qiunan City?

You: I've actually been looking forward to that every day! But... are you feeling well enough to go outside?

Vyn: Of course. Have you forgotten that I am a doctor? No one knows better than me how my body is doing.

You: That's great! Why don't we go in the afternoon then? First, we'll go shopping nearby, and then maybe somewhere further tomorrow or the day after. Oh, right—I can also take you to the light show...

Vyn: I will write them all down. You will have to hold onto me tightly so I do not get lost.
