The City Anniversary is always the most relaxing time of the year.

After the daily NXX meeting, you enjoy the slower work pace as you leisurely surf the internet on your phone.

You: Huh?

A video suddenly catches your attention.

An abstract ink animation exquisitely describes Stellis' traditional holiday—the legend of the Moonlit Eve Festival.

In an age where people still believed in ghosts and gods, there was Sommer, the God of Summer.

One year, during summer, he descended upon the mortal world. As he passed by a bamboo forest, Sommer heard sounds of laughter. He then discovered that humans had come up with clever methods to beat the summer heat.

All of these methods originated from a laundress named Eve. From then on, Sommer paid close attention to this laundress.

Over time, Eve and Sommer became close friends, and Eve adored Sommer. However, since they came from vastly different worlds, she kept her feelings hidden.

She wrote down her feelings and thoughts in letters that she didn't intend to give to Sommer. They were only for sentimental purposes.

You: (Why do most stories in the legends... end in tragedy?)

A hundred years is a lifetime for humans, but it passes by in a blink of an eye for a god. One day, Sommer chanced upon these letters.

From then on, Sommer became the God of Marriage. Wherever he went, no matter what hardships the couples around him faced, they were destined to share a wonderful life together.

People were thankful to the god, as well as the woman who was favored by him. Therefore, the date of their first encounter marks the day of the Moonlit Eve Festival.

Mysterious Voice: Have you ever lamented over the missed relationships in stories?

Mysterious Voice: Have you ever lamented over the way Eve and Sommer's story ended?

Mysterious Voice: If one day, you could personally write the story of the Moonlit Eve Festival, what would your answer be?

Mysterious Voice: Don't hesitate, act now! Head to Cloudland Park for your next vacation!

Mysterious Voice: Let us relive the story from a thousand years ago. Search for your perfect ending at Cloudland!

You: So this is only an advertisement...

Marius: What are you looking at?

You suddenly hear Marius' voice. Somehow, he had snuck up behind you without making a noise.

You: You’re like a cat. I didn’t even hear you approaching.

Marius: You were too engrossed in the video...

Marius leans in to look at your phone.

Marius: Are you interested in Cloudland Park?

Luke: Are you guys talking about the theme park in Cloudland District?

Before you can respond, Luke, who was fiddling with a projection device, looks up at you.

Luke: I think that park has been under renovation for a while. Has it finally been completed?

You: You guys all know about the park? Is it famous?

Vyn: Yes, I recall the theme park has always advertised itself as a park that changes its theme to match the holidays.

Vyn: With the City Anniversary just around the corner, the park has been fervently advertising, which makes it hard not to notice.

As Vyn speaks, Artem brings over the freshly-brewed tea.

Artem: Advertisements for Cloudland Park have been playing on a big screen near the law firm for some time.

You: Really? I never noticed...

Marius: That's an old advertisement. The video that [Player] saw today is an initial release of the newest advertising campaign.

Artem: An initial release?

You: Yeah... let me show everyone.

You open the video and project your screen.

As the ink scroll rolls up, the advertisement ends with a catchy melody.

You: After watching it again, I can't help but feel like the advertisement is pretty innovative.

Marius snaps his fingers, looking pleased with himself.

Marius: Of course it's innovative! It's my one-of-a-kind creation after all.

You: Your creation?

Luke: Your creation?

You and Luke blurt out the exact same thing. But after giving it some thought, it does make sense.

You: (It would be hard to find a project in Stellis that Pax isn't involved in.)

Vyn's eyes fix on the projector screen, and he waits for a long time before speaking.

Vyn: The Moonlit Festival legend... I have heard of it.

Vyn: It is intriguing to make rewriting the ending a selling point. Even my interest is piqued.

Vyn: I believe the advertising campaign will prove effective.

Vyn lets out a faint smile. Through the simmering tea, it almost seems playful.

Artem: In middle school, I participated in an interest group on "Moonlit Festival Traditions."

Artem: The teacher guided us to look through ancient books in search of the Moonlit Festival's true origins...

You: What did you find?

Artem puts his index finger against the side of the cup and shakes his head lightly.

Artem: Legends are passed down mostly through word of mouth. It's not an easy task to track down their origins.

Artem: However, thanks to that interest class, it's the first time I've felt the charm of those lost stories in history books.

You: (It seems everyone is interested in the Moonlit Festival legend! Then...)

Thinking back to the advertisement, an idea suddenly comes to mind.

You: Why don't we go to Cloudland Park together?

Luke: Sure, I had planned on inviting you after the park opened!

Vyn: That sounds like a great proposal. Count me in.

Luke: Y-You want to go as well?

Artem: ...It's rare we get some time off, so spending a day at the theme park is a great idea.

You: Yeah! I think it'll be fun.

Luke: Fine, guess I'm the one overthinking it.

You: Luke, did you say something?

Luke: N-Nothing. I said it's good that we're all going.

Marius: Hold that thought. It's good that you guys came to a consensus, but you can't purchase park tickets anymore...

Everyone looks at Marius almost intuitively.

Marius seems to know what your silent gazes meant all too well.

He puts his hand helplessly to his forehead. However, in the next moment, he's back to his cheerful self.

Marius: Well, I guess I'll handle the tickets.

You: We're counting on you!

After confirming the plans, everyone resumes their discussion about recent events.

Your heart starts to fill with anticipation while looking at the gold-bordered words, "Cloudland Park."

You: It's been a while since we've all been on a trip together. Maybe this time...

Luke: It's true... but something bad has happened every time we've gone out together...

Marius: Stop, enough. Painful memories are coming back to me...

You: Don't say that! Something good might happen this time!

Artem: According to Murphy's law, the more worried you are that something will happen, the more likely it will happen...

Vyn: Indeed, most bad things are a result of psychological cues.

Vyn: Sometimes, worrying too much can turn a good thing into a bad thing.

You: Exactly! I have a feeling that this will be a wonderful and relaxing trip!
