Summary

At the detention center the next day, the Main Character reviews the case details before meeting Felicia Luo: The victim is Brad Gries, Felicia's ex-husband, and Felicia is the primary suspect because of the talisman found in Brad's mouth and threatening messages from Felicia found on a phone outside the basement. Felicia has already confessed to the murder and has only asked for representation to right a wrong.

While answering the MC's questions, Felicia describes her ex-husband as a timid, cowardly man who wasn't a good match for her. She maintains that her motive was Brad's divorce of her several months prior, which she views as an unforgivable betrayal, but the MC feels Felicia is hiding something, especially wary that she dismisses her concern for her sick daughter.

After the interview, the police take over the interrogation, and the MC is surprised to find Artem in the lobby, waiting to offer his help in case of difficulties.

Testimony from a suspect, Felicia Luo, who made a statement regarding her relationship with the victim, Brad Gries, as well as her motive, recent whereabouts, her daughter's disease, and the "curse" of the talismans.

1. Brad Gries, Felicia Luo's ex-husband, had a timid personality. He once worked as a well-paid scientist in a top company.
2. According to Felicia Luo, she committed the crime to get revenge against Brad Gries for his betrayal. She was fully convinced that Brad Gries was seeing someone else. She believes that is why he abandoned her and asked for a divorce.
3. Felicia Luo's daughter has been in poor health since she was born, and her health suddenly deteriorated last month. She is currently still in the ICU and is in critical condition.
4. Other than taking care of her daughter in the hospital, the only thing Felicia Luo does is fortune-telling at her stall. She claims that she hasn't seen Brad Gries since their divorce.
