Summary

After a long night, Luke and the main character are at the police station. Hans Weller and his son have both been arrested, but the laboratory has completely burnt down, including any possible evidence. Irvin Soong is also with them at the station after saving the MC, and he answers the questions the pair has for him, revealing that Jasmine Kenders had visited on the day of her death to obtain the last of the mutated Opaline Fish, which had been stolen that day, from Irvin.

Testimony of Irvin Soong, it contains information about why Jasmine Kenders' visited on Sept 12th, his whereabouts on the day, Hugh's history, and discovery of Jasmine Kenders' scene of accident.

1. Irvin Soong's farm had Opaline fish that were mutated due to the water contamination. Before her accident on Sept 12th of last year, Jasmine Kenders was on her way to Irvin Soong's farm to acquire the fish to use as evidence. Her original photo evidence of the mutated fish was stolen.
2. On Sept 12th of last year, Irvin Soong was at the police station filing a report for the attempted burglary of his home by Ian Johnson. This took much longer than expected and Jasmine Kenders didn't wait for Irvin to come back before leaving. Irvin presumed she was in a hurry because it was Hugh's birthday.
3. Jasmine Kenders first met Hugh at the lab. Irvin Soong believed Hugh was born in the lab.
4. Irvin Soong knew that Jasmine Kenders needed the mutated fish urgently and prepared to send it to her. He came across the scene of the car accident and couldn't find Jasmine. So he didn't touch anything and called the police.
5. Irvin Soong refused to answer questions about his own family.
