Summary

Vyn and the main character briefly discuss the lies likely told by Jen during questioning: namely, that it's unlikely Jen had nothing to do with Estelle's personal life or schedule, and that there is likely more to the room arrangement choice than Jen was willing to discuss.

During the investigation, several clues are discovered: broken glass, amateurishly cleaned wine glasses, and Estelle's phone, which had been cleaned at some point since Jen last carried it. The position of the victim's body near the room's connecting door is also deemed of interest as it seems to indicate Estelle trusted the occupant would help her as she was dying. It is discovered that while there was no activity in the hallway last night, the occupant next door, actor and idol Janus, had been in possession of the key to the connecting door.

Front Screen: Only Estelle's fingerprints were found on her phone. This contradicts Jen's statement. The murderer must've intentionally wiped the phone to remove all fingerprints.

Top right corner on the back: A chocolate smudge is on the back of the phone. The smudge extends from the top left to the bottom right. Estelle clearly didn't leave it. When Estelle was murdered, she may not have had her phone with her.

Theory 1:

The vanished bottle of red wine may have been poisoned and must be taken care of by the perpetrator, which is why that bottle is nowhere to be found.

Tetrodotoxin Content

A small amount of low-concentration Tetrodotoxin has been found inside the wine chocolates. It may not cause acute poisoning in humans.

Characteristics of the Poisoned Chocolates

Needle holes and Tetrodotoxin have been found in 8 out of the 12 chocolates. The use of syringes is suspected.

Jen - Ill-Fitting Clothing

Jen's clothing is obviously one size bigger than her size. She did not purchase more fitting clothes for some reason.

Estelle's Personnel Changes

Estelle had 3 secretaries at one point. 2 of them left Mode de Vénus for different reasons. Only Jen stayed.
