Don Edison is one of the directors of the Pax Group. Compared to the other board members, he's noted to generally have a neutral view of Marius von Hagen as CEO.[2] Don is noted to have no accent and sound well-educated.[3]
Story[edit | edit source]
Bitter over the von Hagen family's control of the Pax Group and Marius' inheritance of it and success "for nothing," Don worked to destabilize Pax share prices and general public opinion of Marius in an effort to force a vote for a new CEO. He funded scandals around Marius' Rising Talent Initiative and personal art gallery, using Alex Schneider and Lane Chapman to expose former counterfeiter Jason Sanders as being part of these programs in order to discredit Marius. He then used Jared Qin to attempt to disrupt a series of acquisitions in emerging markets, though this scheme ultimately failed.[4][5]
During his acts of corporate subterfuge, Don attempted to disrupt any potential investigation into his activities by leaving clues that would implicate Sheldon Harrison for his actions instead, such as acting through Sheldon's assistant and wearing a silver ring like Sheldon's whenever he met with anyone who could later identify him.[6]
Due to Don's status as a large shareholder with a great deal of influence inside Pax, even after his scheme was discovered, he could not be removed from the company. He still holds his position, though Marius keeps evidence against him with a warning that if Pax falls, Don falls, too.[7]Organization(s)[edit | edit source]
