You: Snowball really likes carrots. Look, she looks like she's enjoying it so much!

The white pony in front of you nibbles on the carrot in Vyn's hand, twitching her ears from time to time. She looks very happy.

You and Vyn have adopted the pony. Since she has a white coat, you named her Snowball.

Although you've met her a few times, this is the first time you've ever been so close to her.

Vyn: Good girl.

Vyn is feeding a carrot to Snowball with one hand and gently stroking her neck with the other.

Snowball seems to be comfortable, gently swinging her silky tail from side to side.

You: (Animals all seem to like Vyn, whether it be a squirrel or a pony... He seems to have a unique charm to him...)

Suddenly, Vyn's surprised yelp snaps you out from your thoughts.

Vyn: Whoa!

You look in Vyn's direction in surprise, only to find Snowball licking Vyn's cheek.

She flicks her ears while licking, seeming very content to do so.

Vyn, on the other hand... stands there with a completely helpless look on his face.

You: Vyn...!

You: Snowball! He's not edible!

You grab a bucket full of carrots in a hurry, calling out Snowball's name while knocking on the bucket.

After a few knocks, you finally catch Snowball's eye. Finally, she leaves Vyn alone and heads straight for the carrots.

You: Vyn, are you all right?

You quickly run to Vyn worriedly to check if he is okay.

Vyn's eyes are filled with surprise and exasperation. His glasses, which are always clear and clean, are now covered with a layer of white mist and some smudges.

You: Your glasses are a little... Did Snowball do that?

Vyn: Yes, it is just a bit smudged. But there is no need to worry. I am all right.

Vyn: There is a cleaning cloth in the bag over there...

You: Got it. I'll get it!

You immediately understand. You grab the cloth as fast as you can and subconsciously take off his glasses to wipe them for him.

You: (Eww. Is this Snowball's saliva...?)

You: (I'll just wipe them a few more times. Better not let Vyn know...)

Vyn: ...

You are so busy cleaning his glasses that you did not notice his gaze on you.

You: Done. Let me put them on for you!

Vyn: Sure.

As soon as you look up, you meet his golden pupils. His face is so close...

They are as clear as diamonds and shine like the sun. Without the barrier of glasses, his naked eyes are right in front of you.

It makes him look so soft and compelling.

Although this isn't the first time you've seen him without his glasses, every time you look at him up close, your heartbeat unwittingly speeds up.

Vyn: You seem pretty... enthralled by me?

Vyn's voice rings in your ears, snapping you back to reality.

You then realize that you are still holding onto his glasses. You quickly fumble for an explanation.

You: I- I was checking to see if the lenses were clean...

You: Um... Let me put them on for you!

You gently help him put them on. Your fingertips sweep through his silver hair, creating a dazzling glow.

You start to blush as you recall how you were looking at him earlier.

You subconsciously glance over at Vyn, only to find him gazing at you with a smile on his face.

You: (Huh... why do I feel like he's reading my mind?)

Vyn: Do you want to take a closer look and see if you are satisfied with your work?

You: (He really did see through it all!)

You nod with a red face, standing on your tiptoes. You two stare right at each other as you carry out the check.

The tenderness in his eyes is akin to the infinite ripples on a golden lake under the sun's rays.

Vyn leans down and slowly approaches you. The air sparks with so much tension that you feel like you have butterflies in your stomach. You subconsciously close your eyes...

Vyn: Whoa!

However, instead of a soft touch on your lips, you are greeted by yet another surprised yelp.

You hastily open your eyes, only to see Snowball affectionately sticking her tongue out to lick Vyn's cheek.

Unexpectedly, Vyn's glasses, which you have just wiped clean, becomes hazy again.

Vyn: ...

You: Ah...

Looks like his glasses need to be re-wiped...
