Kirstie is an inpatient mental illness patient under Vyn Richter's care. She was diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder when she was put on trial for the stabbing of her boyfriend. Three distinct personalities have shown themselves: an innocent and timid personality thought by many to be her "original self," a personality prone to violent outbursts identifying himself as "Kirstie's father," and a more sinister murderous one identifying herself as "Kirstie's big sister."[2]
