Macho Mann is the husband of an unnamed long-term patient at Stellis Public Hospital. He has a reputation for being bad-tempered and unkind, and he has caused or nearly caused multiple physical altercations in and around the hospital, including:
- Attempted assault of Nurse Skye Harper for causing his wife pain while removing an IV needle
- Assault of Gerard Boone during the prior incident, when Gerard defended the nurse
- Attempted assault of a fortune teller he claims cursed his wife
- Attempted assault of the main character upon an emotional reaction to her questions about an earlier incident
In addition to his ill wife, Macho has a young daughter who says her father gets angry if she calls adults by their given names. The family had difficulty paying for medical expenses until Macho's daughter was directed by Jerome Adams to ask for help from an incognito Marius von Hagen and started receiving discreet assistance.[1][2]
