General

Don Edison is a member of the Pax Group's Board of Directors. Compared with other board members who are generally favorable or unfavorable toward acting CEO Marius von Hagen, Don is thought of as more neutral.[1]

Don is described as having a well-educated inflection[2], and he's noted to be less steady on his feet than younger assistants.[3]

Story

Don Edison was discovered to be behind numerous scandals affecting Pax, all with the goal of making Marius von Hagen appear an incompetent and unfit leader that would result in his removal from the position. To this end, he exposed Jason Sanders' hidden fraud conviction to make Pax's Rising Talent Initiative appear corrupt, he employed Lane Chapman to cover the theft of Jason's file up, he imitated fellow Director Sheldon Harrison to sow distrust, and he employed Sheldon's assistant, Jared Qin, to sabotage acquisitions. Don's motivations in this plot are that he feels Marius has done nothing to deserve his position as CEO, and there's no reason it can't be his.[4]

Though Marius discovers and retains proof of Don's plot against him, Don remains employed at Pax in the interest of the company's stability, with an implicit threat to remember that Don owes his status to Pax and should avoid doing anything to damage the company.[5]
