Summary
The main character meets Rin Reiner near her home, introducing her to Vyn. Overcome with guilt, Rin tells the MC everything she knows about "The Teacher." Among the new information learned is that he goes to Stellis TV Tower yearly to place a love lock and that he's rumored to have had a lover in the past who has passed away. Vyn steps away to take a phone call while the MC asks about the harassment messages; Rin tells the MC that the Teacher is someone who knows the MC very well, particularly that she helped Vera Walton. Rin then promises to go to the police and confess all she knows.
On the way home, Vyn declines following up the Stellis Tower lead; his cryptic wording leads the MC to wonder whether he's hiding something from her. The following Saturday morning, the MC is awakened by a flurry of messages from Vera stating something terrible has happened.
