Reimi Lee is the ex-wife of Jason Sanders, whom she met while Jason was in university and married after his graduation. Though she knows little about Jason's passion of oil painting, she always believed he was talented, and she worked multiple jobs to support him as he developed his art and failed to be discovered. Despite her multiple jobs, the couple suffered hardships, often skipping meals and missing electricity and water payments. Reimi, however, continued to love and support Jason.[1]
When Reimi fell ill due to overwork approximately 6 months prior to the events of the investigation into Jason's forgeries, Jason claimed to have cheated on her with art broker Cher Young, and the two divorced.[2] However, when Reimi learned the truth behind the incident -- that Jason had lied to prevent her from being hurt by his counterfeit scandal -- she forgave him and reconciled with him.[3] She received the treatment she needed at no cost thanks to a public welfare program run by Pax Charity.[4]
