Go to the police station at Amity Heights and ask about "that thing" that Darius Morgan mentioned.
You: Hello, Captain Morgan sent me to get something.
Police Officer: What is it?
You: No idea. He just said to tell you that I am here for his stuff and you'll understand.
Police Officer: Oh, I know! Captain Morgan gave me a little box the other day... Here you go...
You: It's kind of light. What's in here?
Police Officer: I don't know. It's Captain Morgan's, so I never opened it. You'll have to ask Captain Morgan yourself.
You: Okay, thank you. I'll take it to him.
Central Hospital Special Patient Room
After retrieving that thing, deliver it to the hospital.
With Captain Morgan's box, you head back towards the Central Hospital in NXX's company vehicle.
You: Captain Morgan, here is the thing you asked for.
You hand the box to Captain Morgan. He takes the box and hands it directly to Anne Croft.
Darius Morgan: This is for you. It's from Daron.
Anne Croft: Wh—what did you say?
Darius Morgan: Daron left it on his desk before he went out on his mission... that day. He said it was a gift for his prospective wife.
Darius Morgan: He was always very serious and introverted at work. He never talked with any colleagues about his private life.
Darius Morgan: But, that day, he was so proud of making this gift for his beloved that he couldn't help bragging about it.
Darius Morgan: I even teased at him. I said he was just making it all up. If there was a girl who was into him, why didn't he bring her to the station...?

Anne lowers her head and gently opens the lid of the box.
You: It's a necklace. The pendant is... a gladiolus?
It's a thin silver necklace. The chain is quite common, but the pendant is very delicate.
The pendant is made of pure sky blue crystal. It has been carved into the shape of a gladiolus. The color reminds you of a clear blue sky.
Anne Croft: Oh my god... He remembered... He remembered...
Anne Croft: He asked me once about how I'd like his proposal to go.
Anne Croft: I teased him. I said I wouldn't marry him unless he got me a sky blue gladiolus.
Anne Croft's voice shakes as she speaks. Her shoulders tremble as she holds the necklace with both hands.
