Summary

Shortly after arriving at Irene Burke's home to re-question her, the main character notices she seems especially sensitive about tears in her gloves. When she leaves to change them, the MC examines Irene's apartment with Marius, learning more about her talent and interest in acting and in the story of The Count of Monte Cristo. They also find further evidence that Irene framed Jun Choi and conclude that with her talent in acting, she was able to obfuscate the couple's time of death to give herself a false alibi.
