Summary

The NXX Investigation Team chooses their next courses of action: Luke will investigate the Anti-Heirson group that Jovi Vance is a member of to help locate Jovi, Vyn will meet with Heirson's 20 specially-tracked VIP clients in search of proof they're part of a clinical trial for drugs made with NXX, and Artem will revisit Simon Bloodworth's disappearance in hopes of finding Heirson's source for NXX.

Marius presents a case to the team that he wants to pursue with the main character's help: Irene Burke, leader of Heirson while Tyson Turner is ill, recently saw her fiancé, Jun Choi, detained for the murder of her adoptive parents. Tyson's ex-wife, Caroline Argall, specifically sought out the MC to represent Jun at trial. Marius suggests she takes the case to get closer to Heirson's leadership and learn more about Tyson.

At the police department, Caroline meets Jun and discusses their family situation and her efforts to get Jun a lawyer (the MC). Jun confirms he has information on Tyson and insists he didn't commit the murder.
