Summary
Marius asks to meet the main character to discuss a case of personal interest: the death of Van Kerrel, an art appraiser who allegedly committed suicide last year, and the trial of Lawrence Myers, who is suspected to have assisted. Marius asks the MC to investigate the death and, if she decides she's willing after her investigation, defend Lawrence.
