Summary

Vyn calls to inform the main character that he's secured the transaction records for Janus' purchase of tetrodotoxin from The Abyss and that it shows clearly that he purchased more than was found in the recovered wine bottle, leaving some left over for the chocolates. The MC then meets with Marius to discuss the tetrodotoxin from his car and try to sway him to hire a more experienced attorney, which he refuses to budge on. Darius Morgan returns with a damage report stating the trunk of Marius' car was forcefully pried open, indicating the tetrodotoxin found in it may well have been planted.
