Summary

A few hours later, Aaron Yishmir meets Luke, who relays the earlier conversation, much to Aaron's frustration. Luke laments all the lies he's told the main character since coming back into her life and asks Aaron to help him think of a sensible way to end Sphynx's puzzles to put an end to some of the lies. The two decide to search for a corrupt detective to team up against, which would let them excuse Sphynx's earlier puzzles as a test to see whether Luke and the MC were worthy collaborators.

Meanwhile, at her home, the MC searches for information about Sphynx on her own to help Luke; she finds a series of biweekly videos from a detective Ted Sadin, who claims to have received a puzzle from Sphynx. While the video is farfetched, the riddle he shows on-screen bears Sphynx's signature, and she decides it's a potential lead.
