Tile unlock: Obtain LED Flashlight

You: An LED flashlight?

Vyn: The battery is still adequately charged.

Vyn: Take it. If necessary, we can use it as a weapon.

You: ...

Vyn: Do not worry.

Vyn: I will never allow ourselves to be placed in a dangerous situation.

You: These bars are from hundreds of years ago. They shouldn't be that strong.

You carefully examine the bars for a way out, but to no avail.

You: We got careless. We knew that Zachary's a liar, so we should've been more alert.

While you and Vyn were inspecting the figure of Isis, Zachary had shot at the pulley mechanism for the iron bars.

You and Vyn are trapped inside the cell.

Vyn: Zachary, is this your attempt at removing witnesses?

Vyn stands up and moves in front of you.

Zachary Clarke: You're a pest. Regardless, having you two around meant that I didn't have to worry about Joshua.

Zachary Clarke: As a reward for your act of service, I won't directly kill you.

Zachary Clarke: I'll call people to move the gold, then let nature take its course with you.

Zachary puts down his gun. Without looking at you two, he pries open the rusty locks on the boxes with a dagger.

However, the fruits of his labor aren't what he expected.

Zachary Clarke: W—What the hell... Rocks!?

Instead of gold, he finds stone carvings inside the boxes. They appear to be relics from earlier in the island's history.

Zachary Clarke: Impossible, impossible!

Zachary flips over every box in turn, spilling the contents of each one onto the floor.

Among the dozens of items, the larger ones have a deity's image carved into them, while the smaller ones seem to be ancient accessories.

Vyn: If you wanted the gold for yourself, then why would Joshua think any differently?

Vyn: We asked you before why you were so certain that the riddle Joshua gave you was genuine.

Vyn: Why were you so certain that there was gold hidden on this island?

Vyn: You insisted that you had discovered the gold riddle by accident...

Vyn: Did you not consider whether it was simply bait that Joshua used to deceive you?

Zachary Clarke: W—Why would he lie to me? We didn't often meet before he borrowed that book, and there were never any conflicts between us!

Vyn: There must be a reason why Joshua desperately wanted to leave prison sooner.

Vyn: He simply manipulated you to achieve his objective.

Zachary Clarke: I knew he was a liar. If he lied to me once, he'd lie to me again...

You: So, before you make any more mistakes, hurry and let us out.

You: Smuggling stolen goods isn't a capital offense, but murder—

Zachary Clarke: I've got it!

Zachary suddenly smacks his hand to his forehead. His previous indignation is now replaced with a twisted smile.

Zachary Clarke: I know where the gold is. Joshua, you sneaky devil.

You: (Looks like he wasn't listening to a single word I said.)

Zachary puts down his backpack, takes out a bean-sized object from a side pocket, and drops it onto the floor.

Zachary Clarke: You think I didn't know you put a tracker on me? Heh, I suspected it since the time I saw you using your phone.

Zachary Clarke: Now that I'm going to the gold's real location, I'll leave it here for you to play with.

Zachary picks up his backpack and leaves the cell.

Listening to the sounds of his footsteps, you can't believe that he has the stamina to run so quickly.

You: Dr. Richter, what do we do? Should we signal for help?

Vyn: No need. We can escape on our own.

Vyn has been continuously inspecting the cell ever since Zachary left. Could there be...

You: Is there another way out of this cell?

Vyn: If someone else were trapped in here, perhaps the situation would be dire. However, I am different.

Vyn walks along the wall opposite the iron bars, lightly knocking against the brickwork.

Knock, knock...

You: Is the area behind those bricks... empty?

Vyn: Correct. There is a mechanism hidden inside this brick wall.

Vyn taps on a few bricks in a seemingly specific order. Immediately afterwards, a screeching sound comes from within the wall.

Vyn: Step back.

Vyn pulls you over towards the bars. To your surprise, the wall in front of you splits open horizontally.

The dust from the moving walls make you cough. After the dust settles, a dark entrance lies before you.

You: I—Is this really a prison cell? Why is this here?

Vyn: This chamber was never a prison cell.
