Jen Mendoza is Estelle Marino's secretary and assistant at Mode de Vénus. Jen has been Estelle's assistant for five years and previously worked alongside two other assistants, who were fired prior to the story.[4]
Jen is allergic to chocolate.[4]
Story[edit | edit source]
When the main character and Vyn first question Jen, she lies and omits information about the presence of idol Janus and his relationship with Estelle.
After investigating the crime scene and interrogating Jen again, she explains Estelle's and Janus' relationship and confirms Vyn's suspicion that she is a fan of Janus. Jen recalls how she met Janus five years ago and how he encouraged her to continue to apply as a designer. She also reveals that she was financially struggling after spending her personal funds to purchase pictures and videos of Estelle with Janus and prevent the public from obtaining them.[5]
Jen thwarted Janus' original attempt to poison Estelle by confiscating the wine bottle he had poisoned, saying that he shouldn't drink due to his depression.[5]
The death of her employer and fall of Janus hit Jen hard; in the aftermath, she has sought outlets such as attending mental health lectures in hopes of preventing any similar incident in the future.[6] She eventually resolved to look ahead in life, rather than spend her time on remorse and regret.[7] She has since opened her own store in South Stellis, in which she sells her own designs and is available for custom commissions; the Pax Group is an investor in this business.[8]Organization(s)[edit | edit source]
