Janus Beaufort is one of the top idols in the entertainment industry and is seen as a great actor. Recently, his movies and TV shows have been popular. [3]
In a fashion magazine, Janus was crowned "best on-screen couple" with the female lead in a movie, where Janus played a magician.[3]
His fans and groupies call themselves "J-fans".[4]
However, Janus is the topic of many scandals and rumors due to his rising popularity.[5] For instance, push notifications claim that he was seen visiting a private clinic with a mysterious woman.[6]
Story[edit | edit source]
When Jen Mendoza, Estelle's assistant, stored Marius von Hagen's gifted liquor chocolates in Estelle's room, Jen encountered Janus with a bottle of Romanée-Conti. Knowing that Janus was diagnosed with depression and was told to avoid alcohol, Jen confiscated the bottle and offered the chocolates to Janus.[5] However, Jen did not know that Janus had poisoned the wine with tetrodotoxin and that he would later inject the remaining poison into the liquor chocolates.[7]
The morning after Estelle's death and an encounter with a groupie who entered Janus' hotel room, Janus checked out of the hotel and left for the airport.[8] However, he was intercepted by police and was held at the police station until Marius' defense trial, where Janus became the prime suspect in Estelle's murder.[9]
During Marius' trial, the judge revealed that Janus was diagnosed with bipolar disorder instead of depression.[9]
Five years prior to the story, Janus encountered a disheartened Jen Mendoza after she had been rejected from six companies. Jen told Janus that she believes she might not be good enough to be a designer after hearing that her clothing designs were mediocre. However, Janus encouraged Jen to apply to more jobs, saying that he only became successful due to his perseverance and confidence. Afterwards, thanks to Janus' advice, Jen was hired by Mode de Vénus.[5]
