Overview
- Consumer Rights Protection: The client purchased a bag of jerky from an online snacks shop. When it arrived, the client discovered the net content to be only 100g, not the 500g found on the packaging. The client contacted customer service and demanded the missing amount be compensated for, but was rejected on grounds claiming that it is legally permitted for there to be a disparity between the packaging and the actual products packaged. The client sued the online shop. Currently, the case is on trial, but the online shop wishes to settle in private.
