Bianca Bonner is a student at Hoover High School who was in Robert Whitaker's class until his recent death. Due to a troubled home life, she received aid from her teacher as he helped separate her and her mother from Bianca's abusive father and encouraged Bianca to help change her mother's life, recalling his own regrets with regard to his father.[3]
Story[edit | edit source]
Bianca grew to rely on and deeply care for her teacher, but she grew bitter when she realized her feelings were not reciprocated, discovering Robert had feelings for fellow teacher Lynnette Li instead. Bianca felt this was unfair, as Robert had developed feelings for Lynnette when he was a student but was now dismissing Bianca's own feelings due to their age differences, and she began to intentionally strain the relationship through means such as blackmail and threats, hoping Robert would give up on Lynnette and wait to be with Bianca after she graduated. Bianca's threats to expose their relationship, together with Lynnette's rejections, would eventually lead to Robert's suicide.[4]
