Summary

At Themis Law Firm, Celestine Taylor notes that, to her mirthful surprise, Artem is reading the book she gave him: Introduction to the Psychology of Love and Attraction.

Having arrived at the orphanage, Artem and the main character split up so that Artem can discuss the case with his client. The MC encounters Lily Flores, a ward of the orphanage, and Sherry Lamber, an impoverished-looking woman by whom Lily seems to want to be adopted. Lily runs away upon hearing Sherry is not here to take her home, and the MC gives chase in fear for her safety.
