Overview

Adolescent Rights Protection: Theo was punished at school by his P.E. teacher. When he got home, his parents noticed something was wrong and a trip to the hospital revealed that his ribs had been fractured. Theo's parents demanded the teacher pay compensation but were refused on grounds that it is normal to be injured during physical education. They had no choice but to sue the teacher. Currently, the case has gone through the court of first instance, but the defendant wishes to settle in private.
