Tomb of Ita: Exploration Gameplay[edit | edit source]

When the player taps the "Tomb of Ita" on the event screen, an exploration game will begin, requiring the player's chosen male lead to navigate through four floors of the ruins, excavating for gold nuggets and archaeological tools. These maps are pseudo-random, pulling from a limited number of base maps per floor with randomly generated debris; however, the exits on each map are in fixed positions, though they may be covered by debris to reveal them.

Note that Energy does not regenerate over time; a player is meant to excavate until out of energy, exit and try again. This can be done as often as the player desires without limits, though the phased gameplay of the event will prevent further progression after certain milestones are reached.

As with much of the event schedule, exploration into the Tomb of Ita is carried out in timegated phases as follows:

Phase Unlock time Exploration Rank limit Coins from exploration limit
Phase 1 Event start (4/29 18:00 UTC+9) BAS-III Antiquated Coin icon.pngAntiquated Coin x6,000
Phase 2 After 3 event days (5/2 11:00 UTC+9) INT-IV Antiquated Coin icon.pngAntiquated Coin x16,000
Phase 3 After 6 event days (5/5 11:00 UTC+9) ADV-V Antiquated Coin icon.pngAntiquated Coin x32,000
Phase 4 After 9 event days (5/8 11:00 UTC+9) ADV-V Antiquated Coin icon.pngAntiquated Coin x60,000

Maps[edit | edit source]

Please note: The gold, backpacks, and luck cells marked on these maps are possible spawn points. The game will randomly select one bag and 2-5 gold per floor, and 0-1 luck cell per excavation, most of which may possibly be hidden under debris.

Floor 1

Floor 2

Floor 3

Floor 4

Floor 5 Floor 5 has a static layout with five gold coins that do not require excavation to pick up.

Exploration Tools[edit | edit source]

Each floor contains one backpack item, which may be hidden by debris; find and open backpacks to obtain randomized Exploration Tools as below.

Luck Cells[edit | edit source]

Each excavation run will have zero to one "Event" square a.k.a. Luck Cell spawn; these bestow effects on the character as follows. Cells that bestow buff/debuff effects have their effects in place for the remainder of the run. Cells that do not bestow buff/debuff effects still cause the additional effect of e.g. the Mental Shift talent to take effect after triggering them.

  • Apophis's Destruction: Clears all debris on the current map.
  • Isis' Bastion: For this expedition, excavation will cost 3 energy regardless of type of debris cleared.
  • Nunn's Abyss: Lose 50% of current energy to enter a hidden map in which excavation costs no energy.
  • Osiris' Judgment: Excavations will either grant double Exploration Points (60% chance) or cost double Energy (40% chance).

Intro: Rubis Museum

The investigation at Hessu Ruins finally comes to an end. The five of you are ready for the rest of your vacation in Khaimit.

Rubis Museum, being one of the most famous museums in the world, is naturally the first place you visit.

You: Wow, is that the pharaoh's mask? It's so exquisitely made.

Marius: Miss, you've got a good eye! This is a legendary work of art and the centerpiece of the Rubis Museum.

Artem: if I recall correctly, the people of Khaimit regard this mask as a symbol of steadfast and unchanging love.

Vyn: This is because the mask was personally designed for the pharaoh by his queen.

Luke: So that's with it was the only think he was buried wtih...

You: ...

You: Hang on, I'll go borrow one of the museum's tour devices!

The museum as a dazzling array of display pieces. Each artifact has its own legend.

After learning more about ancient Khaimit, you all follow the guided tour path to explore the museum...

You: There are so many people here... This must be the interactive zone.

It is a new area in the museum that was specially designed to help visitors understand the culture of ancient Khaimit.

The museum has created many minigames for this area which incorporate many elements that visitors can easily enjoy and understand.

Luke: I guess this is where we use the Experience Tickets we were given earlier...

Artem: It looks like this feature has caught the interest of both tourists and locals.

You: Since it's so popular, we should try it out too!

Marius: I'll go with you, Miss! Which one shall we try first?

Vyn: In that case, I think we should try that one first.

You all look towards where Vyn is pointing, and see a large area taken up by a single game. Many people are crowded before a giant screen.

Luke: "Discover your identity in ancient Khaimit...?"

You: (Why does it look like one of those strange pop-ups from certain websites...)

Marius: So, we just have to let the camera record our faces to get our "ancient Khaimit looks"?

Artem: I wonder if that would potentially violate any privacy and likeness rights...

You: Mr. Wing, there's a disclaimer here saying that they won't use the data for anything else.

Artem: ...

Vyn: The people of ancient Khaimit believed in reincarnation. Perhaps this game is a representation of that belief.

Artem:

You: Why don't we all give it a try? Maybe our "ancient Khaimit identities" are all connected as well!

Marius: Since you're so interested, Miss, why don't I get Pax's R&D department to make a few like this?

You: That's way too much trouble. We can just play a few rounds here.

You: It says here that visitors can participate in groups of five. Great, there are exactly five of us!

You: Let's try this game together!

After solving first puzzle

You: How did it go? What did you all get?

Marius: Hehe, this is pretty accurate for a simple game.

Marius: I'm a pharaoh in ancient Khaimit.

You: Are you sure this game wasn't developed by Pax?

Vyn: Oh? If I recall correctly, ancient Khaimit believed in the divine right of kings.

Vyn: I happen to be a priest.

Marius: ...

You: So the game made you a priest... I don't know why, but it feels fitting.

You: As for Mr. Wing...

You: You're probably an official with high authority, like a regent or prime minister, right?

Artem: Yes, a prime minister.

You: I got it right! I'm sure you'll be a great prime minister who does what's best for the country and the people.

Artem smiles and doesn't answer.

You suddenly realize that Luke has been silent the whole time you were discussing your results.

You: What did you get, Luke?

Luke: Me?

Luke: I'm... an assassin.

Unlike the other three, who are all important people, Luke was assigned the identity of someone who works in the shadows.

You: That sounds really cool! It just shows how good you must be at combat!

Luke: Never mind me for now. What about you? What did you get?

At this, the others also look towards you. They all seem eager for your response.

You: I'm...

You: Well, why don't you guess?

Marius: Hey, that's so unfair!

Vyn: Is it a very special identity?

Artem: Perhaps you are an administrative official like me.

Luke: Being an assassin like me would be a pretty good fit, too.

You can't help but laugh to yourself as you see their thoughtful frowns.

You: Let's go! Our exploration has just begun!

  • There will be a total of 4 Event Shadows of Themis in this event. Each Shadow of Themis contains one event-limited SSR card and 3 of the corresponding male lead's other SSR cards. The probability of drawing the event-limited SSR card is 1%. (The total probability of drawing SSR cards is 1.6%.)
  • One event-limited SSR card is guaranteed within 100 Visions.
  • The guaranteed count is shared among all 4 Shadows of Themis. Every Vision you draw from any of the "Secrets of the Tomb" Event Shadows of Themis will be included in the guaranteed pity count for one event-limited SSR per 100 Visions. Once you hit 100 Visions, you will obtain the event-limited SSR of the male lead whose Shadow of Themis you are currently drawing Visions from. Obtaining non-event-limited SSR cards will not reset the guaranteed count.
  • The guaranteed count for this event Shadow of Themis will not carry over to any other events.

Visions may be drawn from these event banners using Tears of Themis - Limited small icon.pngTears of Themis - Limited and Tears of Themis - Sandsong small icon.pngTears of Themis - Sandsong. If present, Tears of Themis - Limited small icon.pngTears of Themis - Limited will be consumed first.

For these banners, "Event limited" SSRs (1% pull rate, guaranteed at 100 pity) are Luke "Overflowing Thoughts" icon.pngLuke "Overflowing Thoughts", Artem "Echoes Ablaze" icon.pngArtem "Echoes Ablaze", Vyn "Flickering Moonlight" icon.pngVyn "Flickering Moonlight", and Marius "Dimly Lit" icon.pngMarius "Dimly Lit".

Special Discounted 10-pulls[edit | edit source]

Note that the first four 10-pulls on these banners are available at a discounted rate of 8 tears each rather than 10. This effectively reduces the cost of a 10-pull to Btn money s.pngS-Chip x1,440 four times. However, note that a player must have 8 of the same tear type (Tears of Themis - Limited small icon.pngTears of Themis - Limited or Tears of Themis - Sandsong small icon.pngTears of Themis - Sandsong) in order to take advantage of this deal.

Trace of Tears - Sandsong icon.png Trace of Tears - Sandsong Exchange Shop[edit | edit source]

Players will obtain Trace of Tears - Sandsong icon.pngTrace of Tears - Sandsong x1 for every pull on the event Shadow of Themis. This currency may be exchanged at a limited-time shop for further resources in the Mall's Exchange Tab. After the event ends and the exchange shop closes, unused Trace of Tears - Sandsong icon.pngTrace of Tears - Sandsong will be converted to Stellin at a rate of 1:1000.

Khaimit Market Exchange Shop[edit | edit source]

During the event, accumulate certain amounts of Antiquated Coin icon.pngAntiquated Coin to exchange for the limited invitation Desert Road Invitation preview.png Desert Road, Tears of Themis - Limited small icon.pngTears of Themis - Limited, and other generous rewards at the Khaimit Market Exchange Shop.

It will take a total of Antiquated Coin icon.pngAntiquated Coin x74,580 to fully clear the Khaimit Market; note that achieving this total requires playing through the event fully and may be difficult to reach for players starting the event late. Additionally, as there are only a finite number of Antiquated Coin icon.pngAntiquated Coins available, players should take caution when purchasing the "infinitely available" Stellin and Oracles.
