General
Granny Jones lives next door to the Main Character's parents and was the next-door neighbor of the Main Character and Luke Pearce when they were growing up. She occasionally took care of them when the MC's parents were working, and the two would have dinner at her house after school. The MC fondly remembers Granny's tomato omelette as her most unforgettable taste.[1] Granny Jones left the two a key to her home in case they ever needed it; she also taught Luke to cook her tomato omelette for the MC.[2]
While Mrs. Jones is quite healthy for her age with no chronic medical conditions, she is getting older. As a widow whose children do not live nearby, her community recently organized a caretaker for her.[3]
