The confrontation between the main character, Vyn, and Wesley Dunn continues. As Vyn lays Wesley's fears of rejection and loneliness bare, Wesley becomes enraged and retaliates by trying to do the same to Vyn to embarrass him in front of the MC; Vyn has the police restrain Wesley rather than let him speak, then asks the MC to leave the room. After she leaves, Wesley continues, pointing out Vyn's flaw of intense perfectionism. Vyn doesn't deny the flaw, but he discards Wesley's analysis of the reason for it as "disappointing" before leaving Wesley to his arrest.
