Ragnar is a professional polo player who's noted to be his father's only son; Vyn specifically calls Ragnar his cousin. The two were not on good terms at school, and the conflict continues to the present day, with Ragnar deriding Vyn's desire to cut ties with his homeland and his interest in a commoner. As a result of their conflict at Stellis' international equestrian competition, Vyn "advised" Ragnar to withdraw from all polo clubs.[1]
