Go to Southeast Stellis Street and investigate based on the clue Timmy provided.

You: Found it! Only these two drink machines are particularly noticeable on Southeast Stellis Street.

Marius: How about starting our investigation here?

Marius: If we understood the hint correctly, then we should be able to find relevant clues somewhere in the neighborhood.

You: Well, let's look around first.

Southeast Stellis Street: Guided by a Message (2/3)

Look closely around the drink vendor, and you might find a useful clue!

Streetlight

Timmy Caddell: This streetlight...

You: Timmy, what are you looking at?

You: (The streetlight? Hmm... It doesn't seem to be any special marks on it...)

Timmy Caddell: Well... I just thought about how I used to like to wait for him under this streetlight...

Timmy Caddell: That way, even if it was dark, he could find me.

Bookstore

You: Is this a new bookstore...? Hey, there's a poster for Blurry Days and Nights on the front door of the store!

You: "Time, the ancient code. It takes you on an unfolding journey made of beautiful memories." Well, that's a special advertising slogan.

Marius: Yeah, the picture book is the top seller... It seems that Cyrus Caddell's books are really popular.

Marius: His great effort, which came at the cost of his life, is finally being recognized by everyone...

Marius: I think if Cyrus Caddell could see these words... he would be happy.

Flower pot

You: It seems like there's something under the flower pot!?

Marius: Let me have a look. Hmm... Is that a toy car?

You: This doesn't appear to be a clue... I guess some kid left his toy here by accident.

Marius: Well, let's go look somewhere else.

You haven't found any particularly valuable clues yet. Keep investigating!

You: We have looked around. There is nothing noteworthy here.

Marius: It doesn't make sense. We should've found something since we followed the clues.

Timmy Caddell: Maybe I was wrong. Maybe the happy moment my brother was talking about is not what I thought...

Marius: "The happiest moment for the young man was also... my happiest moment."

Marius: No, the moment mentioned is definitely one where you and your brother were together.

Marius: Trust your instincts. Maybe the clue has appeared but we ignored it.

You: The happy moment... It sounds like it has something to do with time...

Marius: Moment, time...

Marius: I know what we ignored!

Marius suddenly snaps his fingers. His eyes are sparkling.

You: What is it?

Marius doesn't answer, but his eyes rest on Timmy.

Marius: Do you remember when your brother went to the hospital all the time?

Marius: What day of the week? Or how often would he go?

Timmy Caddell: My brother started out going to the hospital once every few months, and later he would go to the hospital every a few weeks or every other week.

Timmy Caddell: However, he had a fixed appointment with the outpatient doctor.

Timmy Caddell: Usually, he went every Friday afternoon for a review, and then came back in the evening when I got out of school.

Marius: What time was school out?

Timmy Caddell: Umm... 6 PM, I think.

Marius: Always at six o'clock?

Timmy Caddell: Basically yes. What's wrong?

He points to the store along the street and winks at you.

Marius: Here's the answer. The hint we were looking for is there.

You: What?

Timmy Caddell: Marius, tell me!

Marius: Follow me.

You: Isn't this... the bookstore we just passed by?

Marius is pointing out the bookstore you just passed by.

Marius: The advertising slogan on the poster says "Time, the ancient code. It takes you on an unfolding journey made of beautiful memories."

Marius: Isn't this the time we're looking for?

You: Time is... the code?

You understand Marius' hint.

You: The password must have something to do with time.

Marius: Right! Usually, it's Friday, 6 PM. So the password should be... 0506 or 0518 or some combination like that.

Marius turns around to look for something. Timmy immediately shoves the metal box he is holding over to Marius.

Marius: The combination lock on the box has exactly four rows of numbers. Using the method of exhaustion...

While speaking, he turns the tumbler on the combination lock... The combination lock makes a slight clicking sound.

You: It opened!

Inside the box, there is a pencil and an eraser.

Both the pencil and the eraser show signs of use and look as if someone casually placed them inside after using them.

Timmy Caddell: These are my brother's! He liked to scribble on paper with pencils.

Timmy Caddell: He had a better drawing board, but he preferred to use a traditional pencil and paper, I... I used to laugh at him...

You: ...Your brother wanted to give you his used pencil and eraser as a gift?

Marius: If Cyrus Caddell just wanted to give his brother the drawing tools he used, why would he make things so complicated?

You: Yeah, if it was all just for the pencil and eraser, there was really no need to leave a message and riddles...

Timmy Caddell: What was my brother trying to tell me?

Marius: I think there must be some details that we have ignored... that's why we're stuck here.

You: Don't worry. Why don't we find a place to think about all of this? Maybe we will figure out what we're missing.

Marius: Well, all right, let's find a place...

The sudden vibration of Marius' cell phone interrupts the conversation.

He takes out his phone and presses the call button...

Marius: Hello...?

You wonder what the caller is saying to Marius on the other end of the phone.

Marius appears increasingly nervous. He is frowning...

As he puts the phone down, he sighs before shrugging his shoulders and then smiles like normal.

You: ...

Marius: There are some tricky issues coming up at work. It is not a big problem.

Marius: But... It's getting a little late. Let's stop for today.

Marius: Timmy, would you mind me taking your brother's clues and studying them?

Timmy Caddell: You can take them if you want! You don't always have to pretend to be an adult in front of kids, okay?

Timmy laughs as he stuffs everything in Marius' hands.

Timmy Caddell: Here. It's all for you. If you find anything you have to tell me.

Marius: Okay, I promise I will.
