On-Duty Manager's Testimony
Testimony of the manager on duty on the night of the incident regarding the hotel's reservations, the delivery time of the wine, and the whereabouts of the key to the connecting door.
1. Room 1818 and 1713, where Estelle and Jen stayed, were booked under their company's name. Room 1817, where Janus stayed, were booked under Jen's own name.
2. Room 1718 and the adjacent 1717 on the 17th floor remained vacant throughout.
3. Only rooms on Floor 18 to 30 have connecting doors. They are to be removed during a renovation scheduled next month.
4. There are two keys to the connecting door between Room 1818 and 1817. One was kept at the security station and the other was taken by Janus. Janus also took the key to the connecting door between Room 1817 and 1816. He claimed it was done to prevent being harassed by his fans.
5. The hotel delivered a bottle of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti to Room 1818 on the night of the crime.

Injuries: Nails of the victim are broken. They match the marks left on the connecting door.
Murder Weapon: Wine chocolates, which contain Tetrodotoxin, given by the suspect, Marius von Hagen.
Motives: There was a recent business dispute between the suspect and the victim. The scribbled note left behind by the victim also implicates Marius von Hagen as the prime suspect.
