Players wishing to bypass the 10-hour timer may do so once daily at a cost of {{Currency|S-Chip}} x160; this allowance will increase to six times daily in the last four days of the event to allow late starters a chance to complete the event. | Outings may be conducted four times before a 10-hour break must be taken. The trust meter also indicates the pet's condition; pets who are in a condition such as Hungry or Dirty must be tended to before Outings can be done.

After an outing, the pet will be Dirty and will require cleaning (available under the Interactions section).
Luke and Benji
Debates:
- A Pet Wish
- Animal Rescue Promotion
- Dog Walking Controversy
- Fun Playmates
- Science Lecture
- Social Survey
You: Benji, let's go home.
Benji: *Whimper*
You: ... Eh?
Luke: What is it?
You: Well, I find Benji would often look in that direction when we are out for a walk...
You: Is there something special in that direction?
Luke: That is... the direction of the military dog base, where Benji used to live.
You: Eh? It seems Benji is still missing his old life, that's why he keeps looking in that direction.
Luke: Yeah, after retiring, Benji has to live a totally different life from the one he had been used to, and the difference must be hard to accept...
Luke: Maybe he has not adapted to the new life yet.
You: Don't worry. We'll be with him and help him, won't we?
Luke: Yes, you're right.
You: Haha, Benji seems to like this dog park. Let's bring him here again next time.
Luke: Okay, let's bring more toys next time as well.
Benji: Woof, woof, woof!
You: Benji? What's wrong!?
Luke: Oh no!
Luke sprints toward the lake, and you and Benji quickly follow him.
You: !!!
A little girl is crying on the edge of the waterside platform, and half of her body has slipped out of the platform.
Luke: Ah... Watch out!
Luke swiftly pulls the little girl back from the edge.
Luke: Little kid, it's dangerous to play around here.
The little girl is still shaking badly after being rescued, and she cries even louder while wiping her tears with her hands.
Little Girl: *Sobs*...
You: It's okay. You're safe now. Don't be afraid.
Luke: Where are your mom and dad?
Little Girl: They went to buy popcorn... *sobs*... and I was playing alone...
Looking in the direction the little girl is pointing to, you and Luke see a couple hastily running toward you from a snack bar not far away.
You: Let's go for your mom and dad. Don't run so far away from your family next time.
Little Girl: Yeah... Thank you!
Benji: Woof, woof!
Little Girl: And thank you, doggy...
Benji: Woof!
Luke: I know it, Benji. You've done a good job today. And don't worry, you'll be well rewarded.
You: Eh!? Where is my hair clip?
Luke: Hair clip?
You: Yes, the one you sent me before... Odd, it was still on my head just now...
Luke: Don't worry. We have Benji here, so your hair clip will be found.
Luke: Am I right, Benji?
Benji: Woof, woof, woof!
Benji lets out several barks, then he leads you to look for the hair clip on the path you've passed.
Benji: Woof!
You: Found it. It's in this bush!
Luke: Maybe it was hooked off by some branch when we passed here.
Luke: I told you Benji would find it.
You: Benji, you're great!
Hearing your praise, Benji gets up with his tail wagging and rubs against you affectionately.
Benji: Woof, woof!
Benji: Woo... woof!
Luke: Hmm?
You: What is it?
Looking in the direction Luke is looking, you see a German Shepherd approach and lightly rub its head against Benji.
You thought Benji would avoid the other dog, but upon approaching each other, the two dogs start sniffing each other intimately.
Luke: Huh? Why is Benji getting so close to this dog?
Luke: Benji is a trained dog, so in general, he won't get close to other dogs...
As you and Luke are confused, the owner of the other German Shepherd comes up.
Owner of German Shepherd: Huh, it's rare to see my dog be so intimate with another dog.
Owner of German Shepherd: Given the temperament of your dog... it is also a retired military dog, isn't it?
You: Yeah, Benji just retired not long ago.
Owner of German Shepherd: Then it must be still adjusting to its new life. My dog retired about two years ago, and it has gotten used to almost everything but playing with other dogs.
Luke: Perhaps the two dogs have felt that the other is their fellow, so they two are willing to get close to each other.
Owner of German Shepherd: Yeah... that makes sense. If that's so, would you like to bring Benji here more often?
Owner of German Shepherd: I want my dog to meet with Benji more often. It is a rare friend for my dog.
Luke: No problem. We also hope Benji can have a fellow to play with.
Luke: Ugh... It's almost time. Let's take Benji home.
Benji: Woof, woof!
However, hearing the word "home" from Luke, Benji starts jumping around you and Luke with his tail wagging.
You: Luke, do you think Benji wants to play around for a little longer?
Benji: Woof!
You: Look, Benji looks still longing for more.
Luke: All right, Benji. Let's play the frisbee one more round.
Benji: Woof, woof, woof!
You: It is the first time Benji himself wants us to play with him!
Luke: Yeah. It seems Benji has gotten happier and more energetic recently.
Luke: Maybe it won't take long for Benji to completely recover.
You: Yes. I'm really happy to see that Benji is getting better.
Luke: I'm sorry... I can't deal with this case according to your requests, because...
Luke: Huh? It's hung up?
The sudden call interrupts your walking with Benji.
But judging from Luke's expression, the result of the call... didn't seem to be satisfactory.
You: What happened?
Luke: It was a client I contacted a few days ago...
Luke: He suspected the confidential documents of his company had been replaced by his subordinate, so he asked me to sneak into the subordinate's house to look for evidence.
Luke: Of course, I couldn't do as he requested, but as I was about to discuss other solutions with him, he hung up. *Sigh*...
You: Now... you can only find another opportunity to communicate with the client again.
Luke: Yes. I'll think of other solutions.
Perhaps hearing the faint loss in Luke's voice, Benji suddenly straightens up to rub against Luke.
Benji: Woof, woof!
Luke: What? Shall I squat?
Luke squats down as Benji signals, and then Benji puts his forepaws on Luke's shoulders.
Benji: Woof, woof, woof!
Luke: Benji... are you trying to comfort me?
Luke: I see... Don't worry. I won't give up because of such trivial issues.
You: Yes, Benji and I both believe in you.
Vyn and Puff
Debates:
You: Balls of wool, tumblers, feather sticks...
You: Eh? I can't find Puff's favorite toy mouse.
Vyn: Did you leave it somewhere after playing with Puff?
You: Um...
You and Vyn search the garden for some time, but were unable to find the toy mouse.
You: We've looked all over the garden, but strange how we still can't find it...
Vyn: Perhaps...
Vyn thinks for a moment, and then his gaze locks on a cat bed.
Puff is lying on it, grooming her fur. When she sees Vyn coming over, she meows and jumps away.
Vyn: Found it.
Vyn bends down to put his head under the mat of the cat bed. When he stands up again, there is a toy mouse with cat hair in his hands.
You: Ahh, Puff had it hidden.
Puff: *Meow*
Vyn: Cats can be possessive of the things they like, and it seems Puff is no exception.
When Vyn walks into the garden, he finds you and Puff by a can of salmon, staring at each other.
Vyn: What happened?
You: Yeah... I'm observing Puff.
Puff: Meowww——
Vyn: Observing?
You: Yeah, I opened a can of salmon for Puff just now. But he's just been staring at it, with no intention of eating it.
You: But salmon is his favorite flavor...
You: I thought the can might have gone bad, so I picked it up to smell it...
You: But when I had the can in my hands, Puff came over to eat it.
You: The can seemed to be fine, so I put it back on the ground. Now Puff won't eat it again...
As you're talking, you pick up the can and hold it up to Puff, who begins to eat it again.
You: Puff has... even more of a personality than I imagined.
Puff: *Meow, meow, meow*
Vyn: It seems Puff is very reliant on you.
Vyn: Offering you his favorite food may be his way of expressing intimacy with you.
You: Even the way Puff expresses affection is unique.
You: Vyn, is it like this when you feed Puff?
Vyn: Not at first, but now... I always have to keep him company when he eats.
You: ... Then Puff must also like you very much.
You: Vyn, you...
You approach Vyn, only to discover he's carefully digging out lily bulbs.
You: Huh? I remember you planted these lilies not long ago. Why are you digging them up?
Vyn: Plants like lilies are poisonous to cats.
Vyn: Puff has been playing around in the garden. I was worried he might ingest it by accident, so I plan on moving the lilies to the side.
Vyn: It is separated by a fence, so Puff avoids going there, which is safer for him.
You: (Vyn is very considerate...)
You: Is there anything I can do to help?
Vyn: I am about done here. Later, would you like to plant the lilies with me again?
You: Of course I would!
Puff: Meow...
You: Puff, what is it?
While cleaning up Puff's toys on the grass, you and Vyn suddenly hear Puff's angry cries from not far away.
Thinking that something has happened, you and Vyn rush over to Puff's side, only to find...
You: Puff, you got your paw stuck again.
You: This time it's the rattan chair. The last time was the curtains, and the time before that was the couch tassels...
You: They are all evidence of your mischief.
Puff: *Meow, meow, meow*
Vyn: And you act cute every time to get us to forgive your mischief.
Vyn reaches out to carefully free Puff's paw from the rattan chair. With his newfound freedom, Puff lies on the chair, acting cute again.
Puff: Meowww——Meowww——
You: I have no idea what to do with you. Just be careful next time.
Vyn: Hmm?
You: What is it?!
You follow Vyn's gaze to see Puff with a fierce expression and the fur on his back upright.
You: I've never seen Puff like that before... Is there something in the garden?
Vyn: Let us check it out.
Entering the garden, you and Vyn spot a large gecko running away along the wall. With the gecko gone, Puff also returns to normal.
Puff: *Meow, meow*
You: It's okay, Puff.
You: Seeing Puff's intense reaction just now... is he afraid of geckos?
Vyn: It is possible...
Vyn: However, it is possible that Puff has made the garden his home without even realizing it.
Vyn: I would not be happy to see an intruder in my home either.
Puff: *Meow!*
You: Well, you shouldn't infringe upon the owner's dignity.
Vyn: Want another cup of black tea?
You: Sure.
Just as Vyn is about to get up, Puff jumps casually on the couch and rubs against Vyn's knees, wanting Vyn to pet him.
Vyn: ...
You: (Vyn can't resist Puff when he's like this.)
Vyn: You are getting more and more bold.
Puff: Meowww——
Vyn scratches Puff's chin. He squints, enjoying it so much that he starts purring.
You hold back a smile as you pour some tea for Vyn, who looks back at you helplessly.
You: Vyn, you've become a large-sized cat home for Puff.
Vyn: Probably for Puff, she finds it especially comfortable sleeping next to people...
You: (By the time Dr. Wyatt comes back, Vyn would have spoiled Puff to no end.)
Feeding
The pet's Satiety meter decreases over time (2% per 10 minutes) and during outings (30% per outing). Pets may be fed with canned food for +40 Satiety or Freeze-Dried Delicacy for +12 Satiety. For every 50% Satiety restored, the player gains Trust Points x100 with the pet; feeding Freeze-Dried Delicacy increases the pet's Trust Points by a further 120 per feeding.
If the Satiety bar falls below 30, the pet's condition bar changes to Hungry, and the pet can no longer be taken on outings or interacted with until fed.
Pet food is primarily obtained from the Growth Tasks menu, with additional canned food available for S-Chip x50. Freeze-Dried Delicacy will be available for purchase in the event's last four days in order to assist late starters with event completion.
Important tip: The Growth Tasks available do not provide enough food to keep the pet satiated at all times. Players should reserve food for just before playtime and outings and be careful to overfeed as little as possible.
Interactions
Players can touch the pet on the main event screen to earn up to Trust Points x500 per day (100 per touch). Further interactions can be accessed by the Interactions button:

The trust meter also indicates the pet's condition; pets who are in a condition such as Hungry or Dirty must be tended to before Outings can be done.
