Overview
- Contract Dispute: A restaurant makes weekly frozen goods purchases from Pamela. After years of cooperation, they opted out of signing a contract. Upon every delivery, Pamela requests the signature from a restaurant employee and partial payment. Pamela had been in the market for a new house and asked the restaurant to make the rest of the payments, but was refused on grounds that they were not liable because there was no contract signed. Pamela had no choice but to sue the restaurant. Currently, the case has gone through the court of the first instance, but the restaurant wishes to settle in private.
