At the Top of Ganrye Mountains
By the time you and Marius reach the mountain peak, it's already noon. The blazing sun paints the sea of clouds with a warm hue.
You: I didn't think the landscape at the mountain peak would be so excellent! We may have missed the sunrise, but the scenery at noon is marvelous!
Countless ancient trees stretch towards the sky, recounting the hundreds of years that have passed.
Marius: Yeah, it surprised me how many more plant species there are on the mountain peak.
???: Are there a lot of plant species? They all look the same to me, so I thought it was all one species.
A boy who looks to be in high school walks over to you.
Boy: Can you do me a favor?
You: What is it?
Boy: My science assignment is to take a leaf sample from ten different kinds of trees.
Boy: But I've looked around for a while now, and all the leaves look the same to me...
Boy: It seems like the two of you know a thing or two about plants. Do you mind explaining them to me?
Marius: Why didn't you go to a botanical garden... Wouldn't it be faster with the help of the staff there?
Boy: Because the teacher said the leaf samples must be collected from nature... But I always fall asleep in science class, so I can't tell the leaves apart!
You: (That was bold of him to admit he falls asleep in class...)
Marius: I can teach you, but you have to promise me that you won't fall asleep in class anymore!
Boy: Yeah... I'll try my best!
[Debate]
Boy: So that's how it is... Thank you! Enjoy the rest of your date!
You: Honestly, that child... But Marius, I didn't think you would know so much about plants.
Marius: My knowledge extends to many fields. Miss, that's something you'll learn as you learn more about me.
You: Yeah... I can't wait to find out more of your little secrets.
