Summary

At Galatea's Gift, the Main Character meets Ogier Wechsler, who introduces himself and suggests she purchase the brooch he was about to sell at the store on consignment. After a chat about the brooch's design, she buys it and finds an enigmatic message from Ogier inside the box, encouraging her to hold on the moment she realizes her feelings.

At Vyn's home, Vyn argues with Ogier, who is revealed to be a protector sent by Vyn's father. Ogier had been sent on errands to make plans for Vyn's confession this weekend, but he argues that he does not believe the time is right and fears Vyn's relationship will fail as his parents' did.
